My name is Chrissie Davis - Toney.  I grew up in North Little Rock and graduated from North Little Rock High School in 2002 after which I attended the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Southern Mississippi.

I am a professional, classically trained flautist. I have been playing and performing for over 20 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Master of Music in Performance and Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance and Pedagogy degrees.

 

My love of music has taken me around the world, performing in China, Europe and here in the United States.  I am experienced in playing for competitions, and can help you prepare and succeed in the world of competition as well, whether it is competing for a scholarship, All Region tryouts, or a concerto competition. I also love teaching those who just have the desire to learn a new instrument, or gain more proficiency.

I teach all levels of flute, as well as beginning and intermediate piano.  I have been teaching in North Little Rock, Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Cabot and Maumelle for six years.  Some of my flute students have placed in All-Region and All-State competitions and performed with the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra.
